Geralt of Rivia is coming to a new world.
Monster Hunter: World to be exact!
Capcom and CD Projekt Red are partnering up for a
crossover event bringing the Witcher’s White Wolf
himself to Monster Hunter: World.
The new free DLC content will be available for
download next month on February 8th for PS4 and
Xbox One. Content for PC will be arriving at a later
unspecified date.
Monster Hunter Official Twitter revealed that the
player will play as Geralt of Rivia instead of their
character on several new missions and using the
Witcher's exclusive monster hunting gear.
Hopefully the gear from the Witcher Event are
better than gear from previous events.
It has not been confirmed whether or not we will
get to cast signs or see new monsters in the DLC.
The Witcher DLC is the second event update of many
coming to Monster Hunter: World in 2019, following
the Appreciation Festival Event going on from
January 26th to February 22nd, and preceding the
Ach-tempered Nergigante Event in spring.
The only information we have on the Arch-tempered
Nergigante Event is that the monster is very powerful
and will lead to a gamma armor set.
